Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio is only able to provide essential legal services to area nonprofits at no charge because of our dedicated volunteers and donors. At our annual Volunteer and Donor Celebration, I was reminded again of the important role PBPO serves and the impact it has on our community.
As we finish our fourth year of engaging attorney volunteers to provide local nonprofits with free business legal services, we are thankful for our donors, volunteers, board members, and nonprofit partners that are continually working to lift the people in our community.
Summer has finally arrived, but things are not slowing down at PBPO. Attorneys, we have many open Volunteer Opportunities and hope you will consider taking on a new volunteer project this summer as your “mid-year” resolution.
Over 250 attorneys volunteered 1827 hours of expert legal services with PBPO in 2017, and we provided more than $1.3 million in free legal services in our first three years.
I hope you will join me at our Annual Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Reception , we will be honoring one of our attorney volunteers who has gone above and beyond to help PBPO clients.
As we look back at our journey over the past 3 years, we are thankful for our donors, volunteers, board members and nonprofit partners that are continually working to lift the people in our community.
This celebratory and fun evening will bring together friends of PBPO to honor a decade of impact and to help generate support that will provide nonprofits with legal services and education.
