CLE: Serving on a Nonprofit Board: What Attorneys Need to Know

Professionalism CLE: Free for PBPO Volunteers!

Grow PBPO invites you to join us for our Annual Professionalism CLE.

Attorneys are in a unique position to fulfill their commitment to the community through nonprofit board service, using their skills and expertise to enhance a nonprofit’s ability to successfully carry out its mission. However, serving on a nonprofit board can also pose ethical considerations for attorneys. This CLE program will provide an overview of board governance basics and fiduciary responsibilities of board members, followed by a panel discussion on common scenarios involving ethical considerations for attorneys.

Speaker: Chad Eckhardt, Esq., Industry Team Leader, Frost Brown Todd

Panel Members:

Erin Starkey, Esq., Staff Attorney, Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio

Kermit Lowery, Esq., Vice President and Head of Legal, LexisNexis Legal & Professional (retired)
