Quarterly Employment Webinar Series: DEI Update Following Harvard Admission Case

Session 3 in the PBPO Quarterly Employment Webinar Series: DEI Update Following Harvard Admission Case

Join us to hear from the experts at Thompson Hine on important issues faced by nonprofit employers. Each 1-hour session gives an overview of the latest legal developments, practical solutions, and a chance for you to ask your questions live.

This webinar will cover the following:

  • The potential implications of this decision for corporate DEI efforts, including the increased scrutiny and legal challenges from state attorneys general, U.S. senators, and private litigants.
  • The best practices for employers to review and implement their DEI policies and programs in light of the current legal landscape, such as defining diversity broadly, continuing workplace trainings, paying attention to internal and external messaging, and staying updated on relevant state and federal law developments and administrative guidance.
  • The upcoming Supreme Court cases that could impact popular DEI initiatives, such as race-restricted access to mentoring/training, diversity internships, or diversity scholarships.
